I've been meaning to get a pair of these for several years now, but everywhere I've looked they've been well over $400. I grabbed these XMark dumbbells to compliment my P09X routine and they do the job nicely. They seem solid enough, and as long as you keep it as a weight divisible by 10, they're well balanced. The only minor annoyance i have with them is you have to learn "the trick" to get them to slide back into the cradle--like most things, it involves a little jiggle of the wrist to get the set back into the cradle. Nothing major, but i have yet to be able to instantaneously swap out weights--although it's significantly quicker than the alternative. Overall, these are a great item at a great price. Plus, they hardly take up any space. Highly recommend.

The dumbbells are just what I needed. I am going through the p90x routine and the only draw back is that some times it is difficult to get the handle back into the weights in order to reduce or up the weight. Still, it works very well and they are very comfortable to use. Although you may want to use gloves with a grip because these weights have a smooth metal grip that will tend to slip if your hands get sweaty.
