A local gym I used to go to had these kettlebells and I was so impressed with them I purchase some for home use. The gym had the more "rustic" bare iron ones as well and while they get the job done, they tended to have more burrs on the grip. The J/Fit models are a step up and the vinyl coating lets me use it on my tile floor without leaving any marks or chinks, or loud clangs when I set them down. The wide handle is roomy enough for two-handed exercise and I always get a good grip. After several months of use the vinyl coating still isn't showing much wear.If you are just starting out you may want to begin with lighter weights and proper instruction.
