When I was looking into buying this machine, I looked everywhere for reviews & didn't find enough of them. So, I am adding a review to maybe help other people that might be looking at it, even though I actually bought it on a different site. I seriously love this machine, I finally canceled my gym membership & can work out at home. This thing is solid and handles heavy weights very well. Some of the cons I hear other people from other sites mention is that the sliders kind of stick, which I guess they do a little, but I sprayed a little silicon spray in them & it works great. The ONLY con I have really noticed is that the weight posts are close to the pins that you pull out to move the handles up & down. When I have 45 lb plates on it hits the pin as I lift up & down, it could have broken it off if I hadn't noticed first. So, I just put an extra weight collar on the post first, then the 45 lb plate. This spaces the plate out far enough to clear the pin. I hope people know what I'm talking about, I'm probably not explaining it well. Other than that, I love the way it works. I bought a squat harness for $38 that goes to a bowflex machine, it's a chest & shoulder harness that has two straps down the sides with clips. This clips right onto this machine & it works great for squats. Another complaint I heard was the range of motion. Maybe these were hulk sized guys, I'm not small at all & I think the range of motion is great for doing flys & everything else. I LOVE this thing, I'm so happy I got it. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed with it.

I purchased this machine from Dick's Sporting Goods not Amazon. I bought this about 1 year ago and I think it's a great machine. You can do so much on it. I don't understand the bad reviews this machine gets. The range of motion is good for almost all exercises. I always disliked dumbells and barbells. This machine allows you to concentrate more on the exercise and muscle. I have gained nice muscle size from this machine through doing many reps. I just wish it came with a DVD with different workouts although some of the routines I have developed are very good.
